Your face is dynamic, making millions of movements and micro-movements every day. Squinting, frowning, laughing, and talking create dynamic facial wrinkles and folds. These wrinkles and folds can be difficult to treat because other HA dermal fillers may cause the area to appear stiff and unnatural when the face moves. What are the risks of RHA facial filler?
With any dermal filler procedures, the product is injected with a needle so we can expect some minimal side effects. With RHA Collection the downtime is decreased because of its gentle manufacturing process. This process helps preserve the natural structure of the HA, helping it mimic the natural HA found in your skin.

Expect a minimal discomfort during the injection process. To minimize any discomfort a topical anesthetic is applied along with ice. Bruising and swelling can also occur but less likely due to this dermal filler’s proprietary formula.

Some of the transformation of RHA dermal fillers treatment will be seen immediately, with further improvement of the dynamic facial wrinkles over the course of 2-4 weeks.

What do RHA filler injections feel like?

Which RHA Filler is right for me?
The RHA Collection of dermal fillers offers three different unique properties and gel densities for correcting facial wrinkles and folds. Our aesthetic nurse injectors will educate you on which filler would be best for your concern and why.

  • Redensity is the latest HA filler from Revance that is FDA approved for lines around the mouth. It can also be used to smooth lines on cheek and neck areas.
  • RHA 2 is used to treat dynamic wrinkles in the upper face. Vertical lines on the forehead, wrinkles around the eyes and lipstick lines around the mouth can be be smoothed. It can also be used to add fullness and definition to the lips.
  • RHA 3 works on deep wrinkles and facial creases, including nasolabial folds. It can also be used to add fullness and definition to the midface to restore a youthful facial contour.
  • RHA 4  has the ability to correct the advanced signs of aging by contouring the face and softening deep wrinkles. It is also used to volumize areas like the cheeks and midface.

How much does RHA filler cost?
Like with most injectable fillers, cost varies depending on the area being treated, the volume loss, and the amount of correction requested. These factors will determine which RHA filler,  RHA 2, RHA 3 or RHA 4 and the number syringes required to achieve that goal.  We encourage patients to schedule a complimentary RHA filler consultation to discuss options with our professional team.

Is it safe to drive after having RHA cosmetic fillers?
At the Laser Image Company medical spa we treat clients with dermal fillers in the South Bay from Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, and Los Angeles. There is no problem driving after the procedure.
