As we age, we lose volume in our face which causes lines, wrinkles, and folds to start to form. There are surgical options available to help reduce their appearance but when it comes to fat loss, replacing volume can be the 1st step to restoring your youthful appearance. Strategically placing dermal fillers like Vollure in areas of volume & bone loss, can retain your youthful appearance and forgo surgical intervention. What is Vollure used for and how long will it last?
Juvederm Vollure XC is used to treat moderate to severe lines in the lower face. Specifically, oral commissures, nasal labial folds, and marionette lines. It was developed with Vycross technology allowing the ability to last 18 months while having a natural softer look.
What if I don’t like my injections?
Since Vollure is a hyaluronic acid it can be removed fairly easily by injecting an enzyme, vitrase, into the area to dissolve the product.
What is the recovery after Vollure injection?
Recovery is minimal and you can return to normal activities immediately. Patients may experience tenderness, redness, and possibly some bruising in the area treated which usually subside within 1-3 days.
Will I experience pain when I get Vollure injections?
Vollure syringe includes numbing within it to reduce discomfort. We also apply numbing cream 15 -20 minutes before the start of the procedure to decrease this further. Ice will also be applied for numbing and to help prevent bruising. The entire process will take less than 10 minutes after numbing.
How much does Vollure cost?
Cost varies depending on the area being treated, the volume loss, severity of the wrinkles, and the amount of correction the client requests. These factors will determine if a single syringe or more is needed to achieve that goal. A single syringe costs $750.
