Can Latisse be used on the Eye Brows?
Yes! Latisse can be used to can help fill in sparse eyebrows. You can use what’s left on the brush after you do your upper lashes.
Is it true that Latisse can change the color of my eyes?
There is a slight possibility but to truly understand this risk you need to understand that Latisse was developed from a prescription drug to treat Glaucoma called Lumigan, which is placed directly into the eye. In the original Lumigan FDA clinical trials, there was a 1% incidence of hyperpigmentation (darkening) of the eye itself, especially for patients with hazel or light brown eyes. Latisse is placed along your lash line which reduces the risk but if you start to see any change stop using the product immediately. To date there have been NO REPORTED CASES of any eye color change with Latisse.
How is it best to use Latisse?
In order to get the most bang for your buck out of your bottle of Latisse, we suggest using the product slightly differently than outlined by the manufacturer. Patients can drop 1 drop of Latisse at night directly onto a very tiny eyeliner brush and apply it to upper eyelashes only, like you would eyeliner. It should feel just slightly wet and normally 1 drop is enough to cover both eyes. Make sure the Latisse is dry before rolling around on the pillow and be sure to clean the brush well between uses and let it dry for sanitation purposes.
Once I achieve the length and thickness I want how should I use Latisse?
Once your lashes are the length and thickness you want you can start using Latisse every-other-night, instead of every night.
