At The Laser Image Company Medical Spa we are always looking for state-of-the-art aesthetic treatments for our clients in the South Bay and surrounding areas. Our newest addition to combat moderate to severe facial wrinkles is Versa dermal filler by Revanesse. This FDA-approved premium hyaluronic acid filler has the highest concentration of free HA and clinical studies have shown 50% less swelling than other similar products.
In addition, Revanesse Versa’s unique spherical particle shape provides smoothness and volume that lasts up to 12 months with zero incidences of granulomas(hard bumps below the skin).
We all age and lose volume in our face causing skin laxity and unwanted wrinkles. Now, this injectable soft tissue facial filler can reduce the appearance of those imperfections with less swelling and potential side effects.

FAQ’s – Revanesse Versa
What is Revanesse Versa dermal filler?
Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is similar in formula to Juvéderm and other HA fillers. This injectable, however, uses Thixofix cross-linking technology that ensures the dermal filler can be injected easier, making it simpler to shape and with less bruising after injection. It gives a more natural feel and appearance and provides long-lasting results that gradually break down.
What can Revanesse Versa filler be used to treat?
This multi-purpose dermal filler can be used in the following areas of the face:
Underneath the eyes,
Glabellar lines
Elimination of undereye bags
Volume loss in the cheek area
Nasolabial folds (laugh lines)
Perioral lines (lipstick lines)
Lip augmentation
Marionette lines
Chin and jaw contours
What are the risks of Versa facial filler?
With any dermal filler procedures, the product is injected with a needle so we can expect some minimal side effects. With Revanesse Versa the downtime is decreased because of its unique manufacturing process.
Expect a little discomfort during the injection process along with slight bleeding at the injection sites. A topical anesthetic is applied on the skin and the Versa filler has it infused within the syringe so the process is comfortable. Bruising and swelling can also occur but less likely due to this dermal filler’s proprietary formula. If bruising or swelling happens, it can take up to a week to resolve.
Revanesse Versa vs. Juvéderm and other HA dermal fillers?
The key factor that seems to make Revanesse Versa different than other soft tissue fillers, like Allergan’s Juvederm, is its decreased post-injection swelling. This allows injection specialists to be more precise and balanced as they do not need to account for swelling.
On a molecular level, Versa has a tiny, spherical particle structure that gives it a very smooth quality and yields natural-looking results. It’s also manufactured with premium quality hyaluronic acid that has a higher molecular weight than other thicker gel fillers giving it longer-lasting results.
An important consideration for some patients is that Versa is manufactured in very small batches with very stringent quality standards using no animal products. Each syringe of Versa is carefully inspected in a state-of-the-art North American facility.
How much does Revanesse Versa cost?
Like with most injectable fillers, cost varies depending on the area being treated, the volume loss, and the amount of correction requested. These factors will determine if a single syringe or more is needed to achieve that goal so we encourage patients to schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss options with our professional team.
Is it safe to drive after having cosmetic fillers?
