I will break it down for easier understanding. A PRP “facelift” is a non-surgical facelift using no knife and no anesthesia.
Lets start with PRP-Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP is our blood plasma that contains active growth factors. These cells produce hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin in our skin.
PRP injections are rejuvenating from inside out. It is an ideal treatment for anyone that wants to improve the texture and ‘radiance’ of the skin using a natural method. A PRP treatment stimulates the production of collagen and healthy tissue growth in the body, which sets a natural skin improvement process in motion.

“Non – Surgical” Process
The “Non-Surgical” in the name is exactly what it is. It is a non-surgical facelift/treatment. No knife no anesthesia. You will be in and out with in 45 minutes with minimal downtime.
Numbing cream is applied to the areas being injected for your lift and then blood is drawn from you. The PRP is coming directly from your own body, the most natural place it can come from. The blood tubes are then put in a centrifuge machine to be spun to separate the blood cells from the plasma. The plasma will later be reinjected back into your skin by it self, or for a more instant lift, after a dermal filler.
“Facelift” Part of the PRP Process
You can do the PRP injections alone, and not add a dermal filler, and get a very nice change after a series of treatments. To get the proper “facelift” immediately, you will need to add dermal fillers before you get the PRP injected. Both Voluma XC and Juvederm is natural hyaluronic face fillers. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in your skin and body already and binds moisture in the skin. These filler will be placed were you will be in need of a lift; cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines or to lift your eyebrows.
If you choose to add a dermal filler, the PRP will be injected in needed areas, or all over your face, for collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation, directly after the nurse have injected the dermal filler. After the procedure is complete you will be a little swollen and have some small bruising from the injection sites, but that can be covered with makeup immediately after the procedure is finished.
So there it is, the “PRP Non-Surgical Facelift”. This is not to be confused with a regular facelift that you would get at a plastic surgeons office. This procedure is not permanent and is perfect for someone that would like a lift without going under the knife.
