You skin may feel rough and appear dull when dead skin cells accumulate on the surface and cause your skin to look aged. Dead skin cells can act as a barrier and prevent products from penetrating the skin. Exfoliating away these dead skin cells will leave your skin smoother and healthier.
At The Laser Image Company, we offer many exfoliating and resurfacing treatments that will exfoliate and smooth dead skin cells. These gentle, but very effective skin treatments will help your skin with hydration, product penetration, and an overall better complexion.
The two more “classic” treatments for removing dead skin cells are Microdermabrasion and Dermaplaning. Microdermabrasion is a treatment that uses suction and small crystals to exfoliate your skin. Dermaplaning is a method that removes just dead skin cells and peach fuzz with a specially designed surgical blade. Your skin will be baby soft after a dermaplaning session.
Another treatment that deep cleans, exfoliates, and hydrates is the HydraFacial. During the HydraFacial treatment 3 serums are used. The 1st serum will clean your skin, followed by an exfoliating serum, and the final serum infuses the skin with hydrating ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid. This treatment is a patient and skin care specialist favorite at our office.
Nano Skin Refining is the newest exfoliation treatment at The Laser Image Company. It exfoliates your skin, but it is also a transdermal serum infusion treatment.
We also offer Chemical Peels and Enzyme treatments. Those treatments can be done by themselves or in combination with any of the treatments above. When you add a Chemical Peel or an Enzyme after a Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaing, HydraFacial or a Nano treatment, you will get better penetration of those active ingredients, and in turn get better results.
So if your skin feels a little rough or dull or you just need some help in regards what to use for home care, come in and speak to any of our skin specialists. We will get your skin glowing in no time! The Laser Image Company is here to educate you and offer the best treatment possible for lasting results.
